About Us – Fairfield City Medical Centre

We welcome new patients and offer experienced General Practitioners and nurses. Additionally the diversity of service provided on the site enables patients to service most of their health needs in one place.

Missed Appointments
Should you need to make a cancellation, appointments must be cancelled 2hrs prior or a $20 fee is charged.

Fees

Fairfield City Medical Centre : Bulk Billing available 7 days a week, including Weekends and Public Holidays.

All Telephone Consult : It will cost you $40 private billing ONLY (NO Medicare Rebates applicable).

All New Patients: There is an out of pocket fee of $50.

Test Results
You will be contacted by either a Doctor or a Nurse or a text message on your mobile regarding results, with instructions on the next course of action.

Confidentiality

In line with the National Privacy Principles, your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of the practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Urgent phone calls will be directed to a Doctor immediately. The Doctors will return any other calls after consultation time. In case of an emergency please call 000

Test Results

We will send a text message to let patients know their blood test results are ready. You need to call back on 03 9486 6833 to make an appointment and check the results with your doctor.
